Both FEP film and PFA (nFEP) film are transparent sheets that allow UV lights to pass through so that resin can cure easily. These are attached onto the resin vat so that the resin 3D model can be printed on the film's surface. Depending on usage frequency, both may need to be replaced periodically.
What’s the Difference Between the Two?
PFA (nFEP) film is a specially treated FEP film that has a smoother and more delicate surface. The material used for the PFA (nFEP) film allows it to provide less suction force in comparison to the FEP film during printing. This means that you will have a higher success rate in resin printing when the PFA (nFEP) film is installed. The PFA (nFEP) film is especially suitable for fast-curing resins.

2. Many issues may occur when using a defective FEP film, but most issues can be resolved by adjusting your settings. Make sure you’ve checked our official resin profile.
