How to Slice your files using the Sonic Mega 8K S?

Since Chitubox has not yet released the new version 1.9.6 due to testing issues, we would recommend you to download the Chitubox V1.9.5 and add the printer manually. In order to slice your files using the Sonic Mega 8K S with Chitubox Slicer, we would recommend you to follow the steps in the guide below.

Adding Sonic Mega 8K S Printer into Chitubox

1. Adding Sonic Mega 8K S printer

• Open Chitubox 
• Click “Settings”

• Click the “Add new printer” option

• Go to “Phrozen” and choose Phrozen Sonic Mega 8K

• Rename the printer “Phrozen Sonic Mega 8K S” or any other names you prefer

2. Adjust Z size

• Uncheck “Lock Ratio”

• Change the size of the Z-axis into 300mm

• Done

Make sure to select the correct resin type and adjust the print parameters based on the resin you are using.
