To ensure a successful print, it's important to refill the resin vat as the resin level drops. If the resin vat runs out of resin during a print, you can add more resin without having to turn off the printer. You can follow the steps below:
1. Refill Resin during Printing
- Not pausing the printing process
- Remove or open the printer's UV cover or chamber
- Slowly pour additional resin into the resin vat while the building plate moves up and the UV Light is not turned ON.
- Close the printer’s UV cover or chamber and continue printing
2. Important Notes
- Do not overfill the resin vat as this may cause spillage and damage your printer.
- After each print, use the yellow plastic scraper included in your toolbox to remove any cured resin left on the building plate and FEP film.
- Learn how to remove cured resin from the FEP film here.
