How to Slice your files using the Sonic Mighty 12K Upgrade Kit?

After you have finished installing all the hardware components of the 12K Upgrade Kit to the Sonic Mighty 8K printer, you will need to do a few more software adjustments before starting to slice your files in Chitubox. This article will guide you through some simple steps to add the 12K Upgrade Kit into your Chitubox slicer. 

Adding the Sonic Mighty 12K Upgrade Kit into Chitubox

1. Adding the 12K Upgrade Kit

• Open Chitubox
• Click “Settings”

• Click the “Add new printer” option

• Go to “Phrozen” and choose “Phrozen Sonic Mighty 8K”

• Rename the printer “Phrozen Sonic Mighty 12” or any names you prefer

2. Adjust X and Y resolution

• Uncheck “Lock Ratio”

• Change the resolution of the X and Y axis into 11520 px and 5120 px respectively

• Done

Make sure to select the correct resin type and adjust the print parameters based on the resin you are using.
