- 1.5mm Allen wrench
- New Hotend
Replacement Step
- Heat up the nozzle and use the extruder control function to retract the filament.
- Set the temperature back to room temperature.
- Turn off the machine and remove the magnetic front cover along with its connected ribbon cable.
- Next, disconnect the black and white cables connected to the hotend.
- Use a 1.5mm hex wrench to remove the three screws securing the hotend.
- Loosen the front-facing hotend screw.
- Hold the hotend clip and gently twist and pull downward to remove the hotend.
- Insert the replacement hotend into the extruder, making sure the pointed end of the triangular structure faces forward.
- Reinstall the three securing screws.
- Tighten the front-facing screw.
- Reconnect the previously removed cables.
- Finally, reattach the magnetic front cover and its ribbon cable.
