If your machine’s XY Beam becomes misaligned due to a collision with a foreign object during printing, you can manually correct the issue by following the steps below.
Tools Required
- 2.5mm Allen wrench
- Protective gloves
- XY Beam alignment brackets (included with the machine upon delivery)
- M3x16 screws x4
Correction Steps
- Access the Manual Adjustment Page
Go to the Tools page, then enter the Manual Adjustment section. Click the Home button to return the machine to its origin position. - Raise the Frame
Manually raise the frame to a height of 200mm to allow space for the following steps. - Install the XY Beam Alignment Brackets
Use M3x16 screws to attach the XY beam alignment brackets to both sides of the machine.
(There is no distinction between left and right brackets—just make sure the arrow symbols on the brackets are facing inward.) - Lower the Frame
Lower the XY Beam until it is approximately 10mm above the top of the XY alignment brackets. - Disable Stepper Motors
On the Manual Adjustment page, click Disable Stepper in the upper right corner. -
Manually Adjust the Z-Axis
Turn the Z-axis screws at all four corners counterclockwise to lower the frame until it firmly touches the XY beam alignment brackets and can no longer be rotated downward.During this step, do not click any buttons on the touchscreen. If any abnormal behavior or incorrect operation occurs, immediately power off the machine and restart the process from Step 5.
(Wear gloves in this step to avoid direct contact with z-axis lubrication grease.) - Raise the Frame Again
After alignment, use the machine controls to raise the XY Beam. - Remove the XY Alignment Brackets
- Run Auto-Leveling
Go to the Settings page, click Calibration, and then select Auto-Leveling to recalibrate the machine.
That’s it! You’ve successfully completed the frame alignment procedure.
