The box contains one Sonic Mini 8K, wrapped in plastic foil, with cushions to protect the LCD 3D printer. The Sonic Mini 8K toolbox is placed inside the LCD 3D printer. In this article, we will guide you through the steps of unboxing your Sonic Mini 8K.

1. Unboxing the Printer
- Open the box from the top
- Take the 3D printer out of the box and place it on a flat and stable surface
- Remove the plastic foil from the printer
- Open the plastic UV cover, then take the toolbox and the inner cushion outside
- Make sure to peel off the LCD protective film before start to print
2. Opening the Toolbox
The toolbox contains essential tools for setting up the Sonic Mini 8K as well as tools to maintain your device after you’ve finished printing. To make sure you have everything you need, double-check the contents of the toolbox and familiarize yourself with each tool before proceeding to the next step.

After-sales service & Warranty certificate
- Refer to the Warranty Certificate to find your 3D printer's serial number in case of damage or malfunctions
- Scan the provided QR code to access 3D printing tutorials and Phrozen Warranty policy
Gloves
- Wear personal protective equipment (PPE) such as masks, goggles, and gloves to avoid direct contact with resin during printing
Scraper set
- Use the metal scraper when removing models from the building plate
- Use the plastic scraper when cleaning the resin vat or removing cured resin from the FEP film or LCD screen
NOT using the metal scraper to remove cured resin from the FEP film is strongly advised. This can potentially harm the film and negatively impact the quality of your prints.
Power adapter
- Start up your Sonic Mini 8K by plugging in the power adapter
Allen Wrench
- Use the Allen wrench to unscrew and tighten the building plate during the Z-axis Calibration test
Plastic Funnel
- Use the plastic funnel to filter out excess resin after printing. Simply place the funnel on top of the resin bottle cap and pour the resin back into the bottle.
USB drive
- The Sonic Mini 8K only supports file transfer via USB drive. Use the included USB drive to save your 3D printing files and transfer them to your LCD 3D printer.
