If the sensor of your Cure Station stops functioning, replacing it becomes essential to ensure the continued efficiency of your equipment. In this article, we'll provide you with a comprehensive, step-by-step guide on how to safely and effectively replace this component.
1. Removing the Old Sensor
Power down and prepare
- Switch off the device.
- Unplug the power cord from the device.
- Remove the orange UV cover from the Cure Station.
Removing the old sensor
- Remove the 4 screws placed at the back of the Z tower.
- Remove the 2 screws that secure the old sensor in place.
- Turn the device over and loosen the 9 screws on the bottom case.
- Remove and keep the bottom case aside.
Removing the old sensor
- Disconnect the old sensor from the mainboard and remove the old sensor cable.
2. Installing the New Sensor
Installing the new sensor
- Insert the new sensor cable into the Cure Station.
- Plug the new sensor into its designated port on the mainboard.
- Place the new sensor onto the Z tower.
- Screw back the base at the back of the Z tower.
Verify the new sensor’s functionality
- Plug in the power cord and switch on the Cure Station.
- Check if the device works normally.
