Welcome to Sonic Mighty Revo 16K MAX! You may be eager to start your first print, but before setting up your new printer, take a moment to check the included accessories and learn what each tool is used for.

This article introduces the tools and accessories supplied with your Sonic Mighty Revo 16K MAX to help you prepare for setup, printing, and routine maintenance.

We recommend recording the entire unboxing process to document the condition of the packaging, printer, and accessories. As recommended in the user manual, have two people unpack the printer together and place it on a stable table in a dry, well-ventilated area.

1. Unboxing the Toolbox

After removing the accessory box, check its contents against the list below and familiarize yourself with each item before setting up the printer. Remember to check the separate power cord accessory box at the top of the packaging as well.

Customer Support and Warranty Card

• Keep this card, your proof of purchase, and the printer serial number for future service inquiries or when contacting customer support.

PIXUP Card

• A PIXUP card is included in the box. Refer to the information printed on the card for details and instructions.

Protective Gloves

• Wear protective gloves when handling uncured resin, removing printed models, or cleaning the printer to prevent direct skin contact with resin.
• During printing and post-processing, also wear the personal protective equipment specified in the user manual, including a mask, safety goggles, and long-sleeved clothing.

Power Cord

• Use the supplied power cord to connect the power inlet on the back of the printer to a properly grounded three-prong outlet. Make sure the power switch is off before connecting the cord.

USB Flash Drive

• Save your sliced print files to the USB flash drive, then insert it into the printer’s USB port to transfer the files. Sonic Mighty Revo 16K MAX uses the .prz print file format.

Plastic Funnel and Resin Filter Papers

• The accessories include a plastic funnel and three 100-mesh resin filter papers. Use them together when recovering leftover resin to filter out cured fragments and debris.
• Keep the funnel and filter paper securely in place and pour the resin slowly to avoid spills.

Metal Scraper and Plastic Scraper

• Use the metal scraper to remove printed models from the building plate. Allow residual resin to drip off first, then take down the building plate and carefully remove the models with the scraper.
• The plastic scraper is one of the tools used for cleaning the resin vat. Follow the resin vat cleaning procedure in the user manual.

Do not use the metal scraper to remove cured resin from the release film, and do not scrape the LCD panel with either scraper, as this can damage the surfaces. Follow the resin vat cleaning procedure to remove cured residue from the vat.

Allen Key Set and Torque Screwdriver

• Manual leveling requires the torque screwdriver and a 2.5 mm Allen key to adjust the corresponding screws on the building plate.
• Follow the touchscreen prompts and user manual. Do not loosen the screws excessively, as this may cause the building plate to fall.

Air Purifier

• Insert the air purifier into the dedicated air purifier USB port on the left side of the Z-axis. Press the center button to turn it on when needed.
• Continue to keep the room well ventilated while using the printer.

Leveling Paper

• Before a leveling check or manual leveling, remove the resin vat and make sure the building plate and LCD surfaces are clean and free of debris. Then lay the leveling paper flat on the LCD.
• Run the leveling check during initial setup. If the check fails, complete manual leveling before printing the test model.

Before first use, follow the user manual to remove all shipping foam and peel off the packaging protective films from the building plate, LCD panel, and resin vat. Remove the protective films on both the inside and outside of the resin vat. These are packaging films; do not remove the vat’s release film.

Once you have checked all accessories, follow the startup and preparation instructions in the user manual. The first-time setup prompts will guide you through configuration, the LCD test, the leveling check, and the test print.
