[Sonic Mighty Revo] Pump & Fill Installation

Installing the Pump and Fill Unit with your Sonic Mighty Revo printer can significantly enhance your 3D printing experience by streamlining the resin management process. This guide will walk you through the step-by-step installation, ensuring a seamless integration that maximizes efficiency and minimizes downtime. Whether you are a seasoned professional or a hobbyist, following these instructions will help you achieve optimal performance from your Sonic Mighty Revo printer with the added convenience of an automated resin handling system.

1. Powering Down and Preparing

• Turn off the printer and unplug the power cord.
• Remove the top cover and the back cover.

• Remove the 2 flathead screws securing the cover plate for the auto feeder using the H2 hex key.
  

2. Installing the Pump and Fill Unit

• Thread the cables through the hole.

• Place the auto feeder onto its reserved seat, and secure it with the two flathead screws removed previously.

• Connect the red and blue cables to their corresponding ports on the auto feeder extension board from the back of the printer.

• Remove the circular plug on the top cover by pinching the two extrusions at its sides. Store the plug in case of reusing it in the future.

• Reinstall the top cover and the back cover.

3. Install Other Parts

• Thread the black tube through the opening.

• Tighten the pump lid onto a Phrozen resin bottle.
• Place the resin bottle into the designated slot in the pump case.
• Connect one end of the bottle cap infusion tube to the metal extrusion on the pump lid.

• Insert the other end of the bottle cap infusion tube into the left side of the white peristaltic tube.

• Connect one end of the lid data cable to the other port on the pump lid.

• Connect the other end of the lid data cable to the back of the pump unit.

• Insert the inlet tube into the right side of the peristaltic tube.

• Connect one end of the Pump Data cable to the back of the Pump Unit.

• Connect the other end of the pump data cable to the back of your printer.

• Make sure the white peristaltic tube is tightened by pulling on both ends of the tube in the upward direction.

4. Check the Auto Pump and Fill Device’s Functions

• Plug in the power cord and switch on the printer.
• Navigate to “Tools” on the printer.

• Enable both Auto-Fill and Auto-Pump to complete the setup.

• Auto Pump and Fill Resin Feeder installation has been completed.
