[Sonic Mighty Revo] Unboxing Your Printer

Sonic Mighty Revo is a high-printing resin 3D printer that promises to deliver excellent print quality with multiple new features. If you're one of the proud owners who have just received your Sonic Mighty Revo, you're probably excited to unbox it and start printing right away.

In this article, we will guide you through the steps of unpacking your Sonic Mighty Revo printer and introduce you to all the components and tools included in the box.

1. Unboxing the Printer

Each box contains a Sonic Mighty Revo resin 3D printer, wrapped safely with cushions protecting it and an additional toolbox. Now, let’s get through the step-by-step guide on unboxing the Sonic Mighty Revo.

• Open the box from the top.
• Take the printer's box out of the first brown box.
• Remove the printer out of the second box.
• Remove the form packaging. 

• Remove the plastic wrap around the printer.
• Lift the UV cover up, then remove the toolbox and the inner cushion (the 2 vat screws are placed inside). 

2. Opening the Toolbox

The toolbox provided with your Sonic Mighty Revo contains essential tools for setting up and maintaining your device. To make sure you have everything you need, double-check the contents of the toolbox and familiarize yourself with each tool before proceeding to the next step.

User manual

• Contain essential information for users to set up their Sonic Mighty Revo: the introduction of functions and capabilities of the device, keynotes before printing, and a step-by-step tutorial for setting up the 3D printer.

After-sales service & Warranty certificate

• Refer to the Warranty Certificate to find your 3D printer's serial number in case of damage or malfunctions.
• Scan the provided QR code to access 3D printing tutorials and Phrozen Warranty policy.

Gloves

• Wear personal protective equipment (PPE) such as masks, goggles, and gloves to avoid direct contact with resin during printing.

Scraper set

• Use the metal scraper when removing models from the building plate.
• Use the plastic scraper when cleaning the resin vat or removing cured resin from the FEP film or LCD screen.

NOT using the metal scraper to remove the cured resin from the release film is strongly advised. This can potentially harm the film and negatively impact the quality of your prints.

Power adapter

• Start up your Sonic Mighty Revo by plugging in the power adapter.

Vat screws

• Secure your resin vat by installing the 2 thumbscrews. 

Air purifier

• Placing the air purifier inside the printer to filter out the fumes generated during printing.

Allen wrench

• Use the Allen wrench to unscrew and tighten the building plate during the Z-axis Calibration test.

Plastic Funnel

• Use the plastic funnel to filter out excess resin after printing.
• Simply place the funnel on top of the resin bottle and pour the resin back into the bottle.

USB drive

• Sonic Mighty Revo supports USB drive file transfer.
• Use the provided USB drive to save your 3D printing files before plugging it into the USB port of the printer.

Sandpaper and Phrozen stickers

• Use the provided sandpaper to sand the building plate if necessary.
• Decorate your printer with the Phrozen stickers.
